We give a lot of love to the ladies of Mad Dash (I mean, who wouldn’t, they’re all pretty rad!) but today is a day to celebrate the men who have crossed the Mims threshold! We have shared in some truly spectacular moments in our years making matrimonial magic, and have learned a thing or two about fathers — though it might not be what you expect. 

When you think of a father at a wedding, you tend to think of a very specific image. But, the truth is: a father comes in many forms, and most of those break the mold. 

Fathers are more than dance partners on wedding days: they are the ones who bring us up in life and teach us to be brave, they are the men we marry and build our lives with, the ones that support us into the strong, incredible, fierce women that we are, the men who offer their arms to walk us down the aisle when our own fathers fall short, the men who join ranks with our parents in the business of raising, the ones that hold our children tight and show them how their momma ought to be loved…

Fathers are, quite simply, a breed apart. 

So, to honor the great and loving men who have graced our Mad Dash life, we thought we would share a few of our favorite father-daughter moments!
